A new page on debt settlement, focusing on credit card debt settlement was added to the site. This page explains how debt settlement is used to eliminate credit card debt. With a debt settlement service, you make a regular payment to the debt settlement company, which is used to negotiate for an acceptance of a partial payment with your creditors. They may refuse to negotiate with you, but once you are refusing their calls and they are receiving offers from the debt settlement company, they realize that you aren't going to resume payments, and will send the account to their collections and negotiation division.
